DESCRIPTION:NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Class at the Club House and Pistol Range \n\n04/18/26 09:00 AM EST\n - 04/18/26 05:00 PM EST\Description:\nAn NRA Certified Instructor will teach the Basics of Safe Gun Handling and Shooting. \n\nThis is the last chance opportunity for those wishing to become an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor this year. (I don't expect to run another pistol Instructor class this year.) \nThis class is one day prior to the NRA Basic Instructor Training Class (BIT) all three classes are required to become an NRA Certified Instructor. The NRA Pistol Instructor Class is scheduled for the following Sunday. \n\nParticipants will learn the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a gun safely. \nThrough this course the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities.\nOther topics include firearm care and cleaning… Storage Options… and Selection… this 8-hour course provides hands-on learning.\nAfter the classroom portion is completed the live fire practice will be conducted at "Flagler Gun and Archery Club. at the pistol range. \nPlease arrive early to complete the registration process, Complete the club liability waiver, pay your student fees, and pickup your student packet. \nPlease bring a notepad/notebook, writing utensil, and other student materials. \nPlease bring your own lunch, as no lunch will be provided for this class. \n\nThe cost of the class is $120.00, or $100.00 for Flagler Gun and Archery Club Members.
