New Summer Rifle Matches - There will be a summer-only rifle match. Starting in June, there will be an “offhand” match. Offhand is also known as standing. Use any rifle you want from rimfire to 30 caliber as well as any sighting system. Suppressed rifles are allowed but those with muzzle brakes are not. There will be 2 categories, Offhand and Bench. In Offhand, the shooter is standing. The sling cannot be used for support and must be in parade position or removed from the rifle. Bench will allow shooters to sit, but the rifle must be shouldered with no front or rear support. Elbows may rest on the bench. Slings may not be used for support. There will be a 5-minute unlimited sighting period followed by 3 slow fire stages of 10 scoring shots in a time period of 10 minutes for each stage. Maximum score is 300 -30X. The match will be shot on the 100 yd range using the SR-1 target. We will try to use the Shotmarker electronic scoring system but .22LR shooters will have to shoot on paper since the eTargets do not record subsonic rounds. Match dates are the third Saturday of the month, June 15, July 20, and August 17.
These Matches will be shot on the 100 yard Range
