NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting (BoSS) Course.
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target.
This course is at least ten-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

Since this is an 10-hour (more or less) we located in a rural area you will need to provide your own lunch, refreshments, snacks, etc.
this class is limited to 5 seats, on a first come first serve basis, so please don't wait until the day of the class to sign up, as all the seats may be taken.

The cost of this class is $150.00 for Non-Members, and $125.00 for FG&A Club members.
The range shotgun and ammunition will be provided.
This class is a pre-requisite to the "NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting Instructor" class, for those of you who desire to become NRA Certified Shotgun Instructors.
Please arrive early to be able to complete the documentation and registration process.
Again there will be no lunch provided, so bring your own lunch, drinks, and snacks.
