John Hoyer CMP Rimfire Sporter Match

This is a 60 round club match consisting of shooting slow and rapid fire stages in standing, sitting and prone positions. We follow the CMP Rimfire Sporter rules that should be consulted if you are interested in shooting this match. In short, any sporter rifle can be used. Rifle must not weigh more than 7.5 pounds with a trigger pull of not less than 3.0 pounds. Slings are allowed but not in off hand. Iron sights, telescopic sights not more than 6.0 power and tactical sights can be used. Actions can be semiautomatic, lever, or bolt action. This match is a lot of fun to shoot and great for getting new and young shooters involved in matches. The match is shot at the 50 yard line, with off hand being shot at 25 yards. Sighters will be shot before the match. Sign up begins at 8:00 AM with sighters at 8:30 AM.

Steel Challenge matches

Action Bay's 1- 8 are reserved for this event from 8 am. To 12 pm. On Mondays.
Sign in at 8:00 am safety meeting at 8:30 am Starting time right after the safety meeting.
This is a six-stage steel challenge match.
Participants must register on Practiscore.com, slots fill up quickly so register early.
No walk on slots will be available the morning of match.

IMPORTANT CHANGE: Match fee payment for member and non-member will take place at the Club House and will begin from 7:15 am to 8:15 am on match day.
Please retain receipt to provide the Match Director a copy at the Action Bays before match begins.

Check in no later than 8:30 am at the Action Bays. Match will begin after our mandatory safety briefing.
Registration on Practiscore mandatory, NO WALK-ON's.

The Pistol Range sets up for those who want to practice the 'Bullseye' style of shooting.
Stop by if you are interested in learning or practicing this type of Pistol Shooting. Usually around 9 or 9:30 until late morning.

Shoot at 7, 15, or 25 yards. Pistol, Revolver, Iron or red dot sights. Mix and match your guns and shooting distance.
It goes by Bullseye rules as for targets and procedures. It is only a practice and you keep your own score.
Come out and have some fun.

Also please feel free to stop by the club house to donate $5.00 to the club to cover range costs, targets, replacement target stands, etc., for the pistol range.

You will be given a receipt to give to the practice manager who will issue targets in exchange for the targets.
If you bring your own targets a donation is nice but not required, or you may purchase targets at the clubhouse.

Know Your Limits Match (KYL)

Hosted by Flagler Gun Club Match held on the 50-yard Rifle Range
Ammunition: 22 LR

Non–members are welcome to take part in all scheduled events. Whether you are a competitive shooter or just starting out, the Flagler gun and archery club (FGAC) welcomes you to our member – owned club.

Match Dates: See Club calendar for upcoming match and practice events. (Please check calendar day prior to all events for any cancelation notices due to weather)
Future Matches: Are on the club calendar; frequency will depend on participation and range availability.

All participants must stop at the club’s house to buy a ticket for the match before going ahead to the rifle range. You must give your tickets to the match Director at the rifle range. We suggest that you arrive by 8am.
Fees are $10 for members, $20 for nonmembers.
Sundays sign up by 8:30 a.m. A 30-minute warm-up period begins at 9 AM. Match begins promptly at 9:30am.

This is a 22 LR only match. (No high velocity ammunition).

No one piece sleds allowed.

Targets are 9 swinging steel targets at 50 yards, plate sizes are 2 inch, 1 3/4", 1 1/2,
1 1/4”, 1", 3/4", 1/2", and 1/4". Bonus target 3/16”.
Targets must be engaged in order, largest to smallest. There will be two spotters assigned to each match, one primary and one secondary. The primary spotter will call out hits and misses for each shot. Target must visibly “swing” to score as a hit (Range Official’s decision is final).

There are five rifle classifications:

1. Thrifty Class: MSRP $450 Max. (no tuner)

2. Factory Class: MSRP $451 to $600 (no tuner)

3. Super Factory: MSRP $601 to $1,200 (no tuner)

4. Unlimited Class: $1,201 to $2,500 (tuner allowed)

5. Super Unlimited: $2,500 and up (tuner allowed)

Notes:

· If you use a front or rear rest with windage and elevation adjustments with a class #1 or #2 rifle, Class #1 moves to Class #2, and Class #2 moves to Class #3

· If you use a non-adjustable front rest (bipod, bag, etc.) in Class #1 or #2, there will be no change of class

· Trigger modifications: Allowed in all rifle classes without any impact to class or rifle value.

· Any class rifle may move to a higher class if the shooter so chooses even if there are no modifications to their rifle.

· Class #’s 3, 4, and 5 may use any front or rear rest, adjustable or not.

· Front and rear rests must be separate, no sleds allowed.

The Match:

The shooter will advise the match director when they are ready to begin. The match Director will call “fire” and the timer begins.
If a target is engaged and missed, you lose all accumulated points for that set.
If a target is engaged out of order, you lose all points for that set.
Match is 3 sets per shooter, shot from the prone or bench positions. Match score is total from all 3 rounds
The impact to the target must be on the round part of the target and lower half inch of the 1/4-inch straight target. A bullet hits the stem only counts as a miss.
If the shooter hits all targets one through eight on any set, the shooter may try a bonus shot without penalty at the 3/16” target on the far right. The bonus shot does not count against your time for that set.
You may stop at any time and keep all points earned for that set.
If time runs out and you have not missed, you keep your points for that set.
There is a 3-minute time limit per set. Three minutes and 45 seconds for shooters that have rifles that are single load.
NO COACHING – Shooter has the responsibility for hitting correct target, doping wind, etc.

Scores: Once the match has ended, the scores are announced.

Points accumulate according to the following schedule:

2” target - 20 points
1-3/4” target - 20 points
1-1/2” target - 30 points
1-1/4” target - 40 points
1.0” target - 60 points
¾” target - 80 points
½” target - 100 points
¼” target - 150 points
Bonus target - 1 point

Total attainable points per set = 501

Total attainable points per match = 1503

Matches are set up as a “friendly competition” among participants, in a supportive environment. So, come out and have fun!

Shot from the skeet stations. On call, you get a true pair immediately followed by another pair from the wobble trap, on report. Semi-auto or pump that holds at least four shots required. Loaners available. 40 birds per round. $10 members, $20 guests.

Service Rifle / XTC Matches

This 50 round club match is shot to NRA rules. We shoot 10 rounds slow fire off hand, 10 rounds rapid fire sitting, 10 rounds rapid fire prone and 20 rounds slow fire prone. If the shooter wishes the starting position in rapid fire stages may begin in the standing position (CMP rules). Sighters are shot before the match begins. While we expect to shoot all matches at the 200 yard line, range conditions may require use of the 100 yard range. Sign up begins at 8:00 AM with sighters at 8:30AM

Course of Fire: The course of fire consists of five minutes for unlimited sighting shots and 2 strings of 10 shots for record at 200 yards.
The course of fire will be fired on electronic targets. (unless shooter is assigned a paper target) After the five-minute sighting period, the competitors will be given the command LOAD AND STANDBY. Shooters will then have 15 seconds for firing each round and 20 seconds for preparation. After one minute, 50 seconds, the LOAD AND STANDBY command for the second firer’s first shot is given.

Bench Shooters: Only authorized sandbag rests (Rule 6.4.3) or slings (Rule 6.3.3) may be used. No mechanical or adjustable rests, bipods, or rear rests or other means of support may be used. Front bag rests may not provide a channel in which to rest the rifle.

SIG SAUER will be on-site hosting a three‑stage pistol/PCC match designed especially for shooters who have never competed before. Each participant will shoot each stage multiple times using less than two boxes of ammo, and the entire match takes under an hour.

You’ll sign up in foursomes, similar to golf, with “tee times” every 15 minutes. SIG representatives and FGC RSO's will be there to assist.

Participants will have the chance to try SIG platforms such as the P365, P320, P211, and MPX. Performance and random drawing prizes include firearms certificates, optics, and airsoft SIGs. To participate:

This 30 round club match is shot to CMP rules. We shoot 10 rounds slow fire prone, 10 rounds
rapid fire prone or sitting, and 10 rounds slow fire off hand. 5 sighters are allowed before the match.
While we expect to shoot all matches from the 200 yard line, range conditions may require use of the 100
yard line.

Know Your Limits Match (KYL)

Hosted by Flagler Gun Club Match held on the 50-yard Rifle Range
Ammunition: 22 LR

This is a 22 LR only match. (No high velocity ammunition).

There are five rifle classifications:

1. Thrifty Class: MSRP $450 Max. (no tuner)

2. Factory Class: MSRP $451 to $600 (no tuner)

3. Super Factory: MSRP $601 to $1,200 (no tuner)

4. Unlimited Class: $1,201 to $2,500 (tuner allowed)

5. Super Unlimited: $2,500 and up (tuner allowed)

Notes:

· If you use a front or rear rest with windage and elevation adjustments with a class #1 or #2 rifle, Class #1 moves to Class #2, and Class #2 moves to Class #3

· If you use a non-adjustable front rest (bipod, bag, etc.) in Class #1 or #2, there will be no change of class

· Trigger modifications: Allowed in all rifle classes without any impact to class or rifle value.

· Any class rifle may move to a higher class if the shooter so chooses even if there are no modifications to their rifle.

· Class #’s 3, 4, and 5 may use any front or rear rest, adjustable or not.

· Front and rear rests must be separate, no sleds allowed.

The Match:

The shooter will advise the match director when they are ready to begin. The match Director will call “fire” and the timer begins.
If a target is engaged and missed, you lose all accumulated points for that set.
If a target is engaged out of order, you lose all points for that set.
Match is 3 sets per shooter, shot from the prone or bench positions. Match score is total from all 3 rounds
The impact to the target must be on the round part of the target and lower half inch of the 1/4-inch straight target. A bullet hits the stem only counts as a miss.
If the shooter hits all targets one through eight on any set, the shooter may try a bonus shot without penalty at the 3/16” target on the far right. The bonus shot does not count against your time for that set.
You may stop at any time and keep all points earned for that set.
If time runs out and you have not missed, you keep your points for that set.
There is a 3-minute time limit per set. Three minutes and 45 seconds for shooters that have rifles that are single load.
NO COACHING – Shooter has the responsibility for hitting correct target, doping wind, etc.

Scores: Once the match has ended, the scores are announced.

Points accumulate according to the following schedule:

2” target - 20 points
1-3/4” target - 20 points
1-1/2” target - 30 points
1-1/4” target - 40 points
1.0” target - 60 points
¾” target - 80 points
½” target - 100 points
¼” target - 150 points
Bonus target - 1 point

Total attainable points per set = 501

Total attainable points per match = 1503

Matches are set up as a “friendly competition” among participants, in a supportive environment. So, come out and have fun!

Know Your Limits Match (KYL)

Ammunition: 22 LR

This is a 22 LR only match. (No high velocity ammunition).

There are five rifle classifications:

1. Thrifty Class: MSRP $450 Max. (no tuner)

2. Factory Class: MSRP $451 to $600 (no tuner)

3. Super Factory: MSRP $601 to $1,200 (no tuner)

4. Unlimited Class: $1,201 to $2,500 (tuner allowed)

5. Super Unlimited: $2,500 and up (tuner allowed)

Notes:

· If you use a front or rear rest with windage and elevation adjustments with a class #1 or #2 rifle, Class #1 moves to Class #2, and Class #2 moves to Class #3

· If you use a non-adjustable front rest (bipod, bag, etc.) in Class #1 or #2, there will be no change of class

· Trigger modifications: Allowed in all rifle classes without any impact to class or rifle value.

· Any class rifle may move to a higher class if the shooter so chooses even if there are no modifications to their rifle.

· Class #’s 3, 4, and 5 may use any front or rear rest, adjustable or not.

· Front and rear rests must be separate, no sleds allowed.

The Match:

The shooter will advise the match director when they are ready to begin. The match Director will call “fire” and the timer begins.
If a target is engaged and missed, you lose all accumulated points for that set.
If a target is engaged out of order, you lose all points for that set.
Match is 3 sets per shooter, shot from the prone or bench positions. Match score is total from all 3 rounds
The impact to the target must be on the round part of the target and lower half inch of the 1/4-inch straight target. A bullet hits the stem only counts as a miss.
If the shooter hits all targets one through eight on any set, the shooter may try a bonus shot without penalty at the 3/16” target on the far right. The bonus shot does not count against your time for that set.
You may stop at any time and keep all points earned for that set.
If time runs out and you have not missed, you keep your points for that set.
There is a 3-minute time limit per set. Three minutes and 45 seconds for shooters that have rifles that are single load.
NO COACHING – Shooter has the responsibility for hitting correct target, doping wind, etc.

Scores: Once the match has ended, the scores are announced.

Points accumulate according to the following schedule:

2” target - 20 points
1-3/4” target - 20 points
1-1/2” target - 30 points
1-1/4” target - 40 points
1.0” target - 60 points
¾” target - 80 points
½” target - 100 points
¼” target - 150 points
Bonus target - 1 point

Total attainable points per set = 501

Total attainable points per match = 1503

Matches are set up as a “friendly competition” among participants, in a supportive environment. So, come out and have fun!

Pearl Harbor Day Commemorative Rifle Shoot.

To commemorate Pearl Harbor Day we hold a rifle match on the 100 and 200 yard rifle ranges. Any semi-automatic or bolt action rifle Defined in the CMP Games Rulebook can be shot on either the 100 or 200 yard rifle ranges. These rifles can include M1903, M1903A3, Enfields, Mosin-Nagants, Garands, M1 Carbines, AR-15's, M1A's.

If you are unable to shoot positions, no problem. We have added a bench class. Bench shooters are allowed a non-adjustable front support (such as sand bags, wooden cradles, etc). But not a bipod, or adjustable rest such as Caldwell, or one piece sled. No rear bags. A sling is optional, with or with out a sand bag.

Classes firing CMP Garand short course (5 sighters, 10 rounds slow fire prone, 10 rounds rapid fire prone, and 10 rounds slow fire offhand).

Vintage Military / M1903 Springfield ( as issued). M1 Garand (as issued). M1 Carbine (as issued). Modern Military / Service Rifle (AR-15, M1A, etc).

Vintage Class : Rifles meeting CMP games Rule Book Table 7 - Vintage Sniper Rifles and Scopes. Vintage Sniper Rifle course of fire. Each participant will fire 20 rounds using the CMP Vintage Rifle Range commands.

Medals will be awarded for first, second, and third places in each class, at the conclusion of the match.

Lunch will be provided to match participants. Lunch will be available to non-participants for $5.

Club has 4 Garands available for club member use. 30-06 M1 ammunition may be purchased from the Club for $25 for 35 rounds.

The cost for this event is $15 for members, $25 for non-members. Fee includes lunch, targets, and one relay. You can shoot more than once with the same, or different rifle. If you wish to shoot additional relays, the cost is $5 ($10 for non-members) for each relay.

Registration, weapons inspection, and squadding will begin at 7:30 AM. the day of event. First shots at 8:30 AM.
