Event Description
An NRA Certified Instructor will teach the Basics of Safe Gun Handling and Shooting.
This is the last chance opportunity for those wishing to become an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor this year. (I don't expect to run another pistol Instructor class this year.)
This class is one day prior to the NRA Basic Instructor Training Class (BIT) all three classes are required to become an NRA Certified Instructor. The NRA Pistol Instructor Class is scheduled for the following Sunday.
Participants will learn the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a gun safely.
Through this course the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities.
Other topics include firearm care and cleaning… Storage Options… and Selection… this 8-hour course provides hands-on learning.
After the classroom portion is completed the live fire practice will be conducted at "Flagler Gun and Archery Club. at the pistol range.
Please arrive early to complete the registration process, Complete the club liability waiver, pay your student fees, and pickup your student packet.
Please bring a notepad/notebook, writing utensil, and other student materials.
Please bring your own lunch, as no lunch will be provided for this class.
The cost of the class is $120.00, or $100.00 for Flagler Gun and Archery Club Members. (You will need to provide your member number to receive this discount.)
